I need help deciding what to get my 15 mo. old...
He's been wearing Robeez, and he's ready for a new pair of shoes. I can't afford to buy both kinds right now, so I wonder if it's a mistake to only have the soft shoes. I love Robeez though! What do you guys think? Do toddlers need hard soles shoes for running around outside??
Thanks!

Robeez are still great for their feet. Unless there are jagged rocks and other ouchies, I would stick with Robeez!

Buy him some tennis shoes with a super flexable sole...like Ecco. Robeez are really great but they really don't protect feet from rocks and heat (like blacktop). Robeez also can become slippery on the bottom and can lead to frustration when a child is trying to climb something new (like at the park). This is just based on my personal exspirience. So I guess, yes I think toddlers need one pair of hard soled shoes for outside. boy this one handed typing thing is really hard...
