Hey Ladies!

Thanks for the compliments about Will. I am using Mederma on Em's face so hopefully it will heal up quickly and not leave a scar.

I got my BMT tonight. Interesting story there, though. I got it for DH, since I love love love the one Karen made for me. I thought he would like it a lot. However, between the time that I ordered/payed for it, and today, he begged me to make him one like mine. I figured what the heck, he'll only use it until the other arrives and then he will like the BMT and that will be that. Well, the sentimental fool sees the BMT and flat out refuses to use it because of the sentimental value of the one I made, and how can I expect him to choose one that is made by some one else when the one I made is in the house. Ugh. Now what am I going to do? With no more kids on the way, I don't need another carrier. So i have contacted the owner. We will see what can be worked out. Double ugh for this, and then smooches to DH for being so bloody sentimental and sweet.

Okay, off to bed. Up way to late last night worrying aobut work.

Ok, I haven't been here in a while so I was really behind (like 3 pages)

Annie, I hope things work out for the best with you guys!

Laura I've found that the 2-3 yr olds, can bring out some pretty harsh emotions. *hugs*

Anyway, we went to a local farm museum yesterday, and had a blast! The place is almost 200 yrs old, and they still farm it, with all the old tools. They have aoxen teams for the ploughs, etc, milk the cows by hand, shear the sheep, etc. I also got some postcards in town, and postage. I love you guys, but I have to gripe a bit about postage. It costs 85 cents (can$) to send you letters! I won't be sending any extra cards after all, just the 16 babies (hey, I think I just realized I got a stamp for myself too - I had the magic number 16 in my head... oh well)

G tried sweet potatoe 2 nights ago :-)

Ok, back Well, it's a consolation to me that Tess woke up only about 20 minutes after I woke up courtesy of the pup. I "discovered" Brynn awake at 7:40 ~ hopefully she'd only been awake for a few minutes, but I don't know. Anyone else's wee one not make a peep when they wake? This is ALL new territory for me ~ Tess is not, ahem, what you'd call a morning person...

ok, thwarted for now.... WILL get a chance to write later... must get a chance to write later! :LOL

Kathy- sometimes she doesnt' make noise when she wakes just coos and oos but lately she's discovered she has a voice

oh vacation, I need one! a toddler free one please

I'm finding Megan nurses better in the morning when she's not as cranky and tired. As the day progresses it becomes more difficult. But good news is I'm pumping out quite a bit of milk now on my low supply breast. She's really helped that one along. I just put some milk in the freezer for the first time since she was in the NICU

yeah, when a is awake, you know. G will lay in bed by herself quiet and awake for I think 15 minutes or more. I know this only because I have heard a small noise and then find her awake a little later...

Laura, I'm so PROUD of you. When Megan nursed yesterday, I had to tell my DH. He was so amazed with you, he was like, how does she do it all?! He couldn't imagine coordinating pumping with feeding like that, and for so many months already. How wonderful it is that your hard work is paying off! And Megan looks so pretty and healthy and strong. You know that mama milk is doing her some serious good!
Hehe, I did the exact same thing - I'm always talking about Laura when I get frustrated though, I say to him "you know THAT mom who had the 25 week preemie, well she PUMPS every bottle for that baby, there's NO WAY I could do that!" and so I was "HEY DH, you remember all the times I tell you about the mom with the preemie (sorry Laura, you're "The mom with the preemie" around here) and he's "oh yah, how's she doing, pumping's gotta suck" and I said "THE BABY IS NURSING!!!!"

Lisa, I loved that comic. So are Lauren's screamies pretty much over with the Prevacid? When is the Ba swallow?
Monday 7/18 at 9am. Whee, it's an hour drive AND traffic too, should be fun!

Woohoo, diet from the hosp just called back, I have an appt. 8/1. Sad that I'm excited about something 3 weeks away... but hey, it'll be nice to get some real food ideas!

Annie, have you guys been to see the dietician for K?

Oh Jeni, now I'm shopping on that fabric site! How much fab do you use for a dipe?

Nicole, yikes on the carrier I'm sure she'll take it back.

Pam, yikes on the postage! That farm sounds really cool.

Kathy, in the morning Lauren wakes quietly and rolls around for a while, I usually leave her alone until she starts making noise. I figure if she's happy, she can stay there and rock and roll and play.

Laura, freezer milk, huh, that rocks!

New thread? I'll start it. Maybe it's been started? Going to look.

Lisa, mama to Lauren, Elliot, angel Marion, and baby due in the fall.

Annie, that's good that the house is yours. I do remember when you were pregnant, and we were worried about you and H. Now that Violet is born and thriving and we've heard more of his antics, I'm done cheering for y'all to stay together. Whatever will make all involved happiest and bring peace. Thursday, wow, that's a long time to wait. I hope the immunologist is able to help.
Pretty scarf! I'm working on my first soaker, with the Little Turtle Knits yarn and pattern. So far I've knitted a guage swatch and a half. When I went down a needle size I also switched needle brands, and now my stitches are way smaller, so this guage may be wrong too.

Az, great job on going to the dentist! brave woman.

Mary, yep, Evelyn is having a ball eating! Last night she sucked on an asparagus.

Thanks for all the welcomes ladies. Sorry I posted and disappeared. Dh & I took the girls and we went on vacation at Tybee Island, GA for a few days. It was soooo nice and i hated to come home. LOL.

We had such a great time. All 5 of us came home with tans.

It looks like there are many mommies here. It will take me forever to get to know everyone. LOL. Hopefully my little Kaitlyn will start sleeping better at night and mommy can get online and play more often.

Thanks again for all the kind welcomes.
