So, the last two nights, my dd has spit up/vomited (hard to tell which - she's still EBF, almost no solids yet) large amounts. Last night, it was at four in the morning when she woke up to nurse. She didn't even nurse for more than a minute or two, then spit up four times over the next hour.

Tonight, I just went to nurse her before I go to bed (she sleeps in her room until her first night waking, then co-sleeps), and she didn't even latch on - just spit up everywhere when I laid down with her.

She doesn't seem sick or unhappy - what's going on? Anyone?

I found my son hates lying flat sometimes and seems rather uncomfortable...I sometimes let him sleep in his car seat or swing if that's where he's happiest and most comfortable. My cousin's daughter also had (I hate this term) "Acid Reflux" where she would spit up if layed flat. I've also heard of putting a flat pillow under them at the waist, so that their whole upper body is elevated sltightly...this kinda scares me though, 'cause of SIDS, but if done carefully it may be an option?

My DS went through a few days when he was vomiting a lot (you could tell by the smell--it's different than spit up) right before bed. After a couple days it turned to diarrhea and that's when we realized it was a tummy bug. But he had never acted sick either. So it may just be a bug that will pass.
