Does anyone have a recipe for wheat-free teething biscuits or suggestions for other types of hand-held teething foods? My DS is almost 9 months old, basically EBF; he doesn't have much interest in solids, and what he is interested in he needs to feed himself. He's got two bottom teeth and two top ones coming in (maybe two more on the bottom too but he won't let me look inside lately).

I'm in need of some teething food ideas that he can hold on to. He has food sensitivities to my BM, one of which is wheat, so that's why I need them to be wheat-free and all the brands at the grocery store have wheat in them. There has to be a way to make your own!

Thanks!
Aubrie

I don't have a recipe, but Earth's Best makes organic barley (wheat-free) teething biscuits-they sell them at Whole Foods, and the like.

get a mesh feeder and then you can put anything in there for him to gnaw on. (i'm thinking a cold carrot, frozen fruit, etc)

If you think gluten could be the problem, I'd steer clear of Earth's Best since barley also has gluten.
