For the past few days dd has had a rash of small red bumps on her face, neck, and back. On the one hand, it has been REALLY hot here, so my first thought was heat rash. But on the other, we have been doing more solids, so I imagine an allergy reaction could be possible. Do the two rashes look different, or are they similar? How do you tell them apart?

We had the same issue here last week... unbelievably hot, so I figured it was a heat rash... I just gave DS a bunch of baths... and kept him cool... it took away some of the rash but not all, I looked it up and took DS to ped... ped says it looks like a milk allergy from his YoBaby yogurt.

Same rash as your describing though... I think it may be a little of both????

We've been dealing with heat rash around here. I found Dr. Sears' rash page really helpful--http://www.askdrsears.com/html/8/T082900.asp
