My daughter is 7 weeks old.
I think she's teething.
I know that it's kind of early, but I really think she is.

How common is early teething?
Here are her symptoms.

Drooling like crazy.
Chewing on fists, and not interested in eating.
barely sleeps at all (day or night)
low grade fever
stops crying when given a finger to chew on.

Today for the first time since she was born, she just screamed, and I couldn't help her. Nothing I did soothed her. It was really horrible, it totally broke my heart.

I think there are a few more, but it's late and I haven't slept in a few days. (she's been up all night!!)

Do you think she is teething?

it actually may be pretty common. My 4 month old already has 2 teeth. He got his first just after he was 2 months. My sister was born with her first two teeth.

My 7 week old does the same thing. I'm not sure if it's teething or not. So hard to tell. One interesting thing I did read recently, is that around this age they start drooling because their salivary glands just kicked into full gear and they have a hard time managing all the spit.

It could be teething, but you're not likely to see a tooth for a couple of more months.
