WooHoo, I've been looking for this too, I need a place to belong
DD is was born the 9th; 6 lb, 14 oz (3.1 K) & 20 in (51 cm). At the last appt. she was 12.5 lbs and 23.5 in, so I'm guessing now she's around 13.50 and 24 or 24.5 in.
She didn't have colice, but a nice milk protein allergy, I'm now dairy free, but I feel so much better anyway. Now she's teething.
She is just blossoming, so sweet and playful, just a joy to have ... but it breaks my heart when she's in pain or when I don't know what's wrong . . . I tend to be a fixer, I want solutions.
BTW, I'm 41 and first time mom, she was born a month before my b-day when I was still 40 (YAY). I wasn't TTC, had given up about 3-4 yrs ago, and had gotten used to the idea of a child-free life. Same for DH - he was having health probs (heart attack at age 37, 2 stents put in when i was 3.5 months preg) and had said, "you know, I had always planned on having children, but things don't always work out they way you want them to, and I've moved on" and that's kind of where I was.
Much to our surprise and delight, we got permanently married (prior to that we had 2 contract marriages) in August, I turned 40 in September, and got pregnant in November. I actually didn't find out until I was 21 weeks, I thought I was having early pre-menopause or something (DH thought I was having some kind of woman cancer).
Now that we know we can, we are planning to try for #2 when DD is one. I'm getting my non-hormonla IUD in soon hopefully. My prior appt. had to be cancelled because my insurance changed, now I need to find a new provider in my PPO.
