Hello everyone

My 8 month old DD has been waking up with dry blood in her nose for a few weeks now. We thought maybe it was too dry in the house so we have the central humidifier turned up and a little portable one in the bedroom but this has not helped.

The only time she hasn't had it recently was when we spent the night at the IL's house.

We are baffled as to what it could be.

Our theories have been:

Cats
Dry air
or some other allergy

I've found on google that it could be a vitamin C deficiency but I'm not sure that that is the reason.

Has anyone else BTDT? or have any other ideas as to what could be causing it?

She doesn't seemed bothered by it at all either.

TIA!

Is it possible that she scratched her inner nose with a little sharp fingernail? Maybe it bothers her so she itches it. My 2 yr old did that and it took us forever to figure out it was a cut in her nostril.

My ds did this a few times, but I am pretty sure it was from dry nasal airways. It was when he was more congested from teething, and the air was drier. I hope you figure it out soon.
