My daughter has flesh colored tiny bumps all over the back of one of her hands, and the area appears swollen. They have been there for a couple of weeks now, and I have started to notice them on her othe hand, as well as in two patches on her arm. Do you have any idea what it could be? She is one year old.

I can't think of anything new that she has been eating. the only new thing is that she has started crawling.

WW, it could still be an allergy, even if she hasn't eaten anything new. Sometimes, allergies can manifest after a few months or years. Do you give her dairy, wheat or soy? Those are high allergen foods. You could try elliminating fot at least 3 weeks to see if it makes a difference.

Try rubbing calendula oil on her hands or a healing salve.HTH.

Sounds like Molloscum contagiosum to me. Very common in children, and actually has become a sexually transmitted disease in adults- my DP had it once, actually. http://www.aafp.org/afp/20030315/1233.html
