i can't seem to get the portion of cracked skin under his ear lobe to heal. any suggestions? now there is another one on the top of his other ear. the skin is cracked and raw/red underneath, so i don't want to apply anything that might burn or hurt him.

I'm Suzanne, mom to 2 boys aged 8 & 4.

What have you tried so far? My little guy had a cracked looking patch of dry skin behind his earlobe that cleared up when I put some Burt's Bees apricot oil on it twice a day for a few days.

Lanolin, like Lansinoh, is also great for heling cracked or dry skin.

Just a modifiedartist.gif trying to find some peace and regain my balance.

According to Ayurvedic principles this type of skin problem is too much heat so you need a cooling agent. My FP recommended that we use coconut oil for my son's cracked red hands. It worked great and we go straight to it every winter when this starts to be an issue for him.
