At least it seems like it!

He won't latch on the breast and is getting pumped milk plus (ugh) formula supplements. The latter will end if I can get my supply high enough but he WILL. NOT. LATCH ON THE BREAST (this began before he started supplements so it wasn't nipple confusion) so EP'ing and lots of bottles appear to be in my future.

When I put a cloth diaper on him, he screams until I take it off and put on a sposie.

At least he likes to co-sleep. So far.

Sorry to hear that. But get the Platex Nurser system so you don't have alot of bottle to deal with. I use it and my DS only is given a bottle baby once every 2 weeks or once a month (so I can go into work for a short time - meeting, training, or picking up project)

How old is your babe? Can u get a lactation consultatnt to help with the latching? Or can you contact your local LLL? They helped me tremendously in the beginning.

Could the colth diapers be washed in something irritating? Are they nice and soft? Are they bulky? These are all things that bothered my dd. If he's a real baby baby, could the dipe be irritating the belly button?

hope it gets better soon!

I also think LLL might be able to help with the latch issue.

Definately get some help from a good LC or LLL. Get as many opinions as you can. It may be something that can be overcome with professional help, but it won't go away on it's own.
