My baby (8.5 weeks) rubs her eyes every time she nurses. I'm pretty sure she's starting to feel teething pain (I know, it's early, but the signs are clear). Do babies rub their eyes when they have teething pain? Just wondering. (Maybe she's just tired!)

Mine started to do that around that age. We thought it was because he was sleepy but it turns out he had eczema that made his eyelids dry and itchy.

Here is what I have been told. You know how the tear ducts aren't fully functional? Well they get dry and itchy. Sounds like we all have this prob at this age. My ds will be 9 weeks friday and he is doing it as I type NAK.
His eyes are still funky some mornings......funke gunky itchy eyes.
