Any suggestions for an organic play mat (for a 6M old with wood floors). He is trying to crawl, but he is not quite there. I am afraid of him hitting his head on the wood floors. Thanks!

I believe www.underthenile.com has organic playmats. Not sure if this is what you meant.

I know you are looking for organic but we do have padded play mats, the "Munkey Mat" that are 100% cotton and don't use any type of sprays on the outside specifically for people you like organic. The inside padding is polyester. These are great for hardwood floors as that is why is was first created. We live in an older neighborhood with all hardwoods.

Plus these fold into a tote, so really convenient when going outside the home as well.

If any other questions, let me know.

I just crochetted a really thick, tight blanket to use for this purpose. I plan to put some carpet non-skid pad under it to keep it in place as we have all ceramic tile floors.

Here is a really nice one, they also have a safari one, only I couldn't bring myself to spend that much money. The one I ended up getting was this one from sage creek (they also have a blue one). It worked out pretty well and I still use it in her play area even though she is not on it that much.

Wink

I don't think you can find an all-natural or organic foam play mat but there are some better options. The baby care mat is an absolute must for moms of young children.

Here are some very cute natural and organic options https://www.etsy.com/shop/pillobebe She offers custom fabrics and sizing in blankets, playmats or cork mats. They looks very cool.
