any of you use one with the new babe? I am thinking ahead here...

We have a 19 month old that is a wild sleeper so i can't imagine bringing the new baby into bed even if i am between our toddler and the new baby. I now about the Arm's Reach Co-Sleeper but i think it is too huge and since this is our last kid i was wondering if there is a co-sleeper out there that turns into a rocking bench or something like that after the baby has outgrown it?

I like multipurpose type gear.

Thanks so much for the help or links!

Cheers!
Patty

never used it, but i've seen that arm's reach has a "mini" co-sleeper. they also have a wooden one that then turns into a bench or something? i think i saw them on organicbebe.com.

good luck!

we used the regular, unattractive plastic and plaid cosleeper from birth until ezra could propel himself head first over the edge. he was a little baby (6 lbs) at birth and the cosleeper definately made him seem tiny. we swaddled him, warmed the sheets with a hot water bottle before putting him in it. it is definately not the coziest little bed in the world, but overall I really really liked it and would use one again.

look at the arm's reach website.. they have some more solid designs now that can morph into other things (i think).
