The title is supposed to be "New spin...." Sorry!
Curious here. I love DD's mesh feeders. She loves them, too. I think I love them so much because I can eat at the same time as her without having to worry so much about if she is shoving too many chunks of food into her mouth at once or having to spoon feed her. They allow me to be lazy sometimes!
Anyway, I am curious if anyone either has an opinion or has read some research suggesting that mesh feeders are good or bad. Are they considered "self feeding?" Will too much use of the feeders hinder a childs abillity to self-feed without one? Here are the details of DD's feeder use before anyone asks: she sits up unassisted, she has a pincer grasp, she has been eating solids for a month now, and she eats plenty without the mesh feeder. Okay, let's get this discussion rolling.
Come on Alegna, I know you HAVE to have some info for me on this one!
