the change in the frequency of my dd's bm's. She has been a "once every 3 or 4 days" baby but now she is suddenly having bm's every day or two and sometimes more than once per day (dh just called and said she went three times today before noon). Some have also been green rather than yellowy-brown.

So, things that have changed recently include:

1) she's teething which means lots of drool and also night nursing like crazy (she used to nurse once or twice at night but for the last week she's been nursing every 90 min to two hours)

2) I've started taking a few supplements in an attempt to finally rid my body of excess yeast -- no need to make yeast fighting suggestions; I've read about them all over the last few months. Actually, only one thing I'm taking is new (caprylic acid).

So ladies -- any thoughts on this? I'd appreciate your input and thanks in advance.

Hope

Oh, if it wasn't clear from my post, my dd either nurses or has my breast milk in a bottle when she's home with dh. She's 6.5 months old and does not eat solids.

I don't know about your diet. I've heard teething can cause more acidic/frequent bm's, but am not certain if this is fact or myth. Perhaps this link will help you determine what the poop is indicating:

Kermit --

Thanks for the link! I just checked it out and I think the problem was diarrhea from teething. We seem to be back on track in this area. Thanks again.

Hope
