Boy, this solid food thing is driving me crazy! Cereal/no cereal, start with fruit/wait on fruit, try meat early/hold off on meat, puree/don't puree, finger food only/use a spoon. Sigh. I've been telling people my dd's first food was avocado and they look at me like I've said "raw liver"! "Avocado!", they exclaim. "What about rice cereal?"
Anyway, I'm just going to muddle along. I did hear that you can make your own cereal and it is better than the refined grains that are used in prepared rice cereal.
Anyone know which grains to use and how to prepare it?
