Does anyone know whether or not it would be ok to give rice or goat milk to a 6 month old? I am not keeping up with pumping as well as I thought I would be. I am worried that dh will run out of milk to feed her while I am at work or school during the night. I don't want to give her formula, cows milk, or soy milk (for fear of allergies) but I want something at the house for a back up. Can anyone help me out? Thanks

You're in luck. This very question is on the Ask the Experts page at the moment. I think Linda Palmer makes an excellent point - that the reason formula was developed was because babies didn't do well on cows and goats milk. I have heard mention of goats milk FORMULA in posts before. Maybe you could search for that.
