PJ is so off his sleep schedule, he is trying to wean off afternoon naps, so by 5pm he is SO cranky, and at night I did have him going down at 10pm, now I am lucky if its by 2 AM, when Cathryn was teething I never went thru this, She was a awesome theether, I am running out of ways to comfort him, I have been thinking about getting another chair to rock him again to sleep, but he is almost 14 months, and I am not sure if it is worth it. I was told by family to give him Motrin or tylenol, But I dont like the idea of that unless I really need it,

my dd does the same thing when she is teething -- we endure 2 weeks of no naps and poor sleep, and then when the teeth finally break the surface, she is fine.
chamomile tea and hylands teething tablets help a lot, and like you, i save the tylenol/motrin for a last resort. i don't like to give it to her and she HATES to take it, so it really goes unused. but if your kid is suffering, sometimes it has to be done, you know?
