My younger sister is due in 3 weeks with her 2nd child. I've tried to mention breast feeding, co-sleeping and sling usage but she won't have it. she already said "I'm going to ask the nurse for a shot to dry up all my milk" I said (not knowing if this was true or not) "they don't do that anymore" hoping she would abandone the idea. I don't know what to do except i need to be tolerant of her parenting choices. this is a big step for me. It is so hard to imagine a newborn in a crib alone. I'd even go to her house and help her make her bed as safe as possible for co-sleeping. Has this ever happened to anyone else? what did you do?

I respect their choices, as I'd hope they'd respect mine.

I know it's hard, because the natural, ap style is far more better for babies IMO, but...c'est la vie. It's her life..you kinda just gotta let her do what she wants.
