I'm not sure which forum this belongs in so moderators feel free to move. At any rate, we fed DD some mashed up banana on Christmas and for the next day or two afterwards she had a red bum whenever she pooped (sorry TMI). It didn't seem to bother her too much, but it looked really sore. It went away eventually. Then we fed her more bananas a couple days later and the red bum returned. My question is this, is that just a normal part of her body getting used to something besides breastmilk? Is it a sign she's sensitive to bananas and we should try something else? Or is it a sign that we should hold off on all solids for a bit longer?
