Ds is 3 months old and we are changing 6-7 times each day. We used to change more often when he was younger, when he pooped more often. We use cds btw.

Way more than 6-7 times for sure! We are ECing, so change him as soon as he is even a little bit wet. Even though we catch a few pees in the toilet every day (& most poops), we are still going through 90 diapers from the service every week, plus a dozen or so of my own when I run out. That works out to.....
about 14 a day . No wonder it seems like I'm always changing him - I am!!

Wow. So it wasn't just us going through an ungodly number of diapers while using a service. We'd blast (ha ha) through the 70 dipes they sent us in 3 or 4 days, then the 3 dozen prefolds we had after that.

Now she's slowed down a bit (some days) and I change her 10-12 times a day. I'm assuming, because there are around 25 diapers when I wash and I wash every other day.

But there are definitely times when I'll change her three times in 15 minutes. It all depends on when I notice she's wet (she doesn't like me checking her diaper when she's playing).

We use cloth and my 10 month old still goes through 10 dipes a day. At night I double diaper with a microfleece top to keep him dry, so that is 12 dipes in a twenty four hour period. HTH

Dd is 9.5 months old and I change her every time I notice she is wet. That might be 3x an hour or 1x every couple of hours. It all depends. Of course, I change her immediately when she poops!
I change her between 10-12 times a day on average would be my guess!

eta: we also cd!

I think about 8-10 times per day. I change her when she is wet or poopy, so I don't really count. We cd and I love putting a fresh, dry dipe on her.

I also EC with ds and we go through about a dozen a day by my count. When you don't use a cover you find out how often your baby *really* goes to the bathroom!!

ds is 3.5 months. We change him every 1.5-2 hours during the day, pretty much, so my guess is we go through about 10 a day. I also double up at night. (We CD.)

mostly WAHM, sometimes WOHM to my : two boys.

About 3 a day now, 90% of the time she goes bare butt. Unfortunatley I didn't find out about EC until she was a year (now she is15mo) so I do the next best thing, no diaper. It works well for us, she only pees on the floor once a day or so and saves all of her poop for the bath tub (which is no fun to clean up but at least she does not have to sit in it) She has gotten out a diaper and given it to me before when she has to pee.

My ds is 8.5 months, we cd, and I change him about 12 times a day. We go coverless at home, so sometimes it is more, if we are out it might be a bit less. I try to change as soon as he wets.

Well we hardly ever out a diaper on him but he pees and poos first thing in the morning and then after his first nap of the day pees every 30 minutes. So I'd say he goes between 10 and 16 times a day. He's 7 months old tomorrow

Oh... well, we go through about a 12-16 per day (give or take). Ds no longer poops during the night, so we just stick a doubler in there and sleep all night!

We CD btw.

ec= elimination communication

You watch baby for signs that he/she will be going potty and hold them over a container or potty chair while they go.

If you want more info, go to the diapering board and at the top is a sticky that takes you to the ec board.
