Just wanted to share.

In pretty much every way, she's more "baby" than "toddler" so I just wanted to hopefully hear of others who have "old" babies.

yeah, you might be! My 6 mo old is more like a "boy" to me sometimes than a baby. Yeesh, I knew it would go fast but that's ridiculous!

Ha, it just depends on the day! Sometimes she thinks she's sixteen, but I think she's acting like six months.

My DD will probably be a baby well past a year as well, so you're not alone (although she still has another month to make some big changes in, so who knows!)

At least your DD has hair!

I still think they're babies long after their toddlers. Jeesh, my oldest is gonna be 4 in the summer and I only started thinking of her as a toddler when she was a little past 3!!

16m old DD2 is JUST starting to feel like a toddler to me. I still call her the baby though. It's been happening over this last month, she is starting to talk a lot more, and do things are are more toddler-ish.

There is no way to happiness, happiness is the way.

dd is my 17 month old baby.

the only toddler-like thing about her is the fact that she toddles when she walks.

Until very recently my 18 month old wasn't even walking yet. Henri is still very much a baby, even though he thinks he's all independent and tough! At 13 months his older brother was running around, but at the same age Henri was still a content little nursling who barely crawled unless it was absolutely necessary. When Henri cries it sounds like the cry of a 6 month old-you wouldn't guess it was an 18 month old toddler crying. Enjoy this "extended" babyhood-it'll be gone all too soon

This describes my ds too! He is now 12 months, but he's been acting like a toddler for months. My dd was definately a "baby" longer.

My son was a baby for a long time too...really until he started walking. Totally normal!

You know, some days my 3 year old is still a little baby. And that's okay.
I totally hear what you're saying, and I say hang on to it - time moves so quickly.
