I would probably use it if it was given to me but I don't think I would buy it. I just did both of my ds's hands with kits my mother bought me.

I voted "Other" as in, yes, it's adorable, but HOW much do I want my kid to hate me later, and how many years of therapy am I willing to pay for?? :

I have to say, though, that it makes as much sense to me as belly casting....possibly even more! :

Reeeeallly not calling to me. At all. My babies' bums are cute, but I don't really want to cast them to keep for all eternity.

Would definitely be a conversation piece, though. LOL

Heck yeah I would buy that, two of them... they would make perfect book ends or whatever they are called. Maybe a third for a paper weight. :

I said I wouldnt' buy it, but I think its a cute idea, and if I was bored, and had a friend who would help and be excited about it, I would cast my DS's bum using similar supplies that would likely be cheaper than the kit. Like I did with my pregnant belly.

My baby's bum is LUSCIOUS!

I LOVE the bookend idea!

I gotta ask the obvious though....how in holy HECK do you keep your baby's bum from wiggling long enough to make it work??? I must be missing something, but my baby is wiggly 24/7, including her chubby adorable

Makes WAY more sense than belly casting to me. I certainly didn't want to remember my huge ginormous belly!!! Now, my baby's cute little adorable bum...I would love to remember that.

I wouldn't buy it, though. But I wouldn't mind getting it as a gift. And I love the idea of a white elephant gift! Now I'm tempted to buy it...just so I can make a couple and have extras to give away (the castings, I mean)...how hilarious of a white elephant gift would that be?!?

Mama to DD, my 2/24/08 BIG KID formerly known as sling baby, and DS, my 12/23/11 train-loving, wall-climbing toddler!

Umm...poop comes out of that. So, not really something I want to be looking at.

Although I'm conflicted because my DS's bottom is definitely very cute.

I was also trying to figure out how you would do a boy without getting his berries cast as well. Sorry that is just too weird for me.
