I really think it's just a coincidence, but I thought it was worth asking about.

We got DD's amber necklace yesterday afternoon and put it on her immediately. She wore it non-stop until this afternoon, when she suddenly became ill (diarrhea, vomiting, fever). Any chance this could be in reaction to the amber? She has no contact rash or redness from the necklace, and she didn't seem irritated by it, so I really think it's just a random virus that coincided with putting on the necklace, but I thought I should ask...I took it off her this afternoon (because she got vomit on it) but I haven't put it back on since--I probably won't put it on until she's finished vomiting, anyway.

I've never heard of a reaction like that to wearing amber(but I'm not educated on it, so maybe web-search it?). I think you're right about it being a random virus.

Hope she feels better soon!

Could be the LO is sensative to the natural anti-inflammatory properties in Amber! Very Interesting!

My daughter (adult) suffers from headaches when she wears amber. She suspects that it was causing sleeplessness in her daughter.

I know someone who's daughter seems to get more fussy with it. So strange since mine needs it!
