My 6 1/2 month old hans't pooped since Friday. It's now Monday morning. He normally poops once or twice a day. He started with solids a couple weeks ago (we're doing baby led weaning), and I know that introducing solids can cause some disruptions in regularity. He doesn't seem to be in any discomfort or pain, so I haven't been too worried.... but I also know that constipation can get bad pretty quickly if it isn't resolved.

What can I do to encourage some poop?

That's pretty common with my girl. Once in a while, she'll go two day without a poop. When she does poop, it's not as explosive as before since she started solids.

Totally normal. DS once went 9 days when he was 10 mo. It was a little scary because we were flying back from visiting family in Vegas on day seven and we were terrified he'd have a blow-out diaper in the airport or on the plane when we were least equipped to deal with it. The advice I often hear (and what I did) was for mom to drink extra water.

Totally normal, though if you want to do some solids that might help things instead of slowing them down, I had good luck with some pears in a mesh feeder.

On my last break, I went into his classroom, and he was working on a major poop! LOL... only on a baby board can you be excited about poop!
