I am so hot I can't stand being around myself. It is driving me crazy. I thought maybe it had something to do with this cold I have - like, could I be feverish? - but it's not. I'm just roasting. I have the a/c down to 62 in the bedroom - Sam and DH are wrapped up in blankets - and I'm laying there with no covers on and STILL sweating.

I don't remember being this hot with Sam at all. I can't sit near people because I get way too hot from thier body heat. I can't cuddle DH in bed because I am already roasting and he is under the blankets. Can't cuddle Sam either. It's driving me nuts.

I guess eventually we get to look forward to this again with menopause?...

I am so with you! This is the hottest summer of my life. Normally, I hate the a/c and all it's pollutants. But this summer, my ethics went out the window after I shut them all and turned on the a/c! I take lots more cool showers than ever before, too.

Thankfully, when we are really big preggos, it will be cooler. Just a few more weeks of this heat, hopefully!

Well, I'm glad it's not just me. It's soooo hot here, too, even with the a/c on all day I'm drenched in sweat. But it seems to be just me because Dh and MIL keep turning the a/c off! : I don't think I've slept with a blanket in a month. I really, really can't wait for this summer to end.

Wish I had some advice. I just take 2 showers a day lately, and try to get anything that requires much movement done in the morning when I don't feel so hot.

NOt running the AC is not an option in a GA summer. But we cant keep it as low as I would like or we would be in the poor house. I wake up hot. I am hot all day. I have to change my underwear some days because I have sweatted through them. I sleep on top of my covers for the first time in my life (and I have always been hot blooded).

I spent all weekend in a training in a very cold room. Every other person there had brought sweaters and sweatshirts by the second day. I was in sleeveless tank tops and still warm! :LOL One time during the workshop, we were doing hand massages for each other and the girl i was paired with loved me! She said my hands were soooo warm and hers were sooo cold. I warmed her right up!

Me too. It's so miserable. Ditto on the underwear thing. Yesterday I started sweating bullets during the 10 feet from the backdoor to the car. I about froze DH out of the car, but GOD, it's so horrible! COME ON COOL WEATHER!

I turn our A/C down to 19c because anything higher and I am roasting. Normally I run cold - but this pregnancy and the last I get overheated easily.

We are going through this because a pregnant woman's metabolisim is upped by 20% which increases body temperature.

Well, here's a bonus - when you go camping, you never get cold! We went this weekend and other than the heartburn, sore back, reflux, mosquito bites, and challenges of cosleeping on an air mattress, it was awesome! I was never cold, at least. Usually a problem.

Ditto. I'm a NE girl experiencing her first pg in FL and not in the least bit happy with the heat/humidity. God bless our AC and ceiling fans. Now I have this little problem of going outside (just to get out and get some sun) and then getting overheated and cannot cool down. Then I feel my pressure drop, I gulp fluids, suck ice, etc... Oh what a lovely cycle...
