Dh and I were at a wedding last night and as I was sitting at the table, I got a STRONG tingling in my breasts, just as if my milk were about to let down (I haven't breastfed in a long while, Ds weaned early). I was so mortified that I would have 2 huge wet circles on my shirt, but thankfully nothing came out. Anyone else having the tingling sensation?

Cross posted in December DDC.

Yah, mine do that on occasion. No leaking as of yet though. During my first pg I had a tendency to tingle and leak after getting out of the shower.

I've had that this time around. I never had it with my first two (well, DD1 was still nursing through pregnancy with DD2, so that could be why).

Yep, mine do that (especially when there's someone who refuses to pick up and nurse their newborns.) I haven't actually had wet circles yet though, touch wood.

I get those tingles too. Not leaking yet, no colostrum to speak of . . . I have a big letdown reflex when nursing, so I think that's why I 'm having them. I have only 8 weeks to go and the girls are quite large at this point. :LOL It's kinda funny when it happens, I think I'll have a wet circle, but not yet . . .

I've had some tingling, but only have leaked once through my clothes from my right breast. I can express a tiny bit by hand (maybe a drop or two from each once or twice a day), but one day I was sitting at my computer leaning forward a bit and all of a sudden I felt wet and looked down and there were maybe five little drop stains on my nightdress. That was pretty surprising :LOL

I haven't leaked at the same time as the tingling though...

love and peace.

Even though I've nursed DS throughout this pregnancy, I haven't had a real "let-down" sensation since I was about 12 weeks pregnant. But this morning I did! Sudden, intense tingling on both sides when he was nursing, but I actually didn't leak.

Mama to DS (05/04) and DD (11/05), married to a wonderful DH.
