Sheesh. Middle of the night last night I woke up and REAAAALLLLY lost my plug this time. I started losing bits of it over a week ago, but last night and still a bit today was WAY more. I've been spotting (MW did a sweeping of my membrane on Fri) too so maybe things will get moving finally. I just haven't had a SINGLE contraction all weekend!!! I feel like you, DiD, I feel like I'm just going to be pregnant forever!!! Have to keep positive, though, these kiddos can't stay in hiding forever! I'm heading out for blue/black cohosh tomorrow.

Nobody has EVER been pregnant forever- not even Mary Tudor. It sounds like things are kicking off- slowly, maybe, but that doesn't mean that when labour happens it won't be fast
Besides, late babies are easier to care for- even 43 weekers like Alex- because their tummies are bigger and stay full longer.

Helen mum to five and mistress of mess and mayhem, making merry and mischief til the sun goes down.

Good luck - the black/blue cohoshes I had were mixed with something else as well, I don't remember what (I think I sent it to you though). And don't forget about going for the BIG WALK! Tell that baby to git his booty OUT.

Eh? Man, mine is starving all the freaking time. So much milk! He wasn't quite 43 weeks, but 3 days off from it...however, yes, the nighttimes are nice...

FSM...It's cottonroot bark. Did you do that tincture AND alternate the black and blue every 30 minutes? I'm off to do my shopping in a bit. I spent all of last night (9pm til 3am) with regular ctx, most of which were five minutes apart. Towards the end, before they petered off, I was really having to concentrate and breathe through them. Of course when I get to the hospital to be checked (worried b/c of the GBS+) I was 100% effaced but STILL only at 2cm!!! *sigh*

it was just one tincture, equal parts of all three...it was made for me at a local naturopathic pharmacy. but you could prob do it yourself - 20 oz / 3 = 6.6 oz each.
