This has nothing to do with mothering except that I was nursing DS last night while DH was asleep and suddenly heard DH say, "Let's not play with knives, please." I laughed so hard, I woke the poor guy up.

A few nights ago DH was snoring soundly when suddenly he stopped, chuckled, and said, "That was a funny joke!" Then immediately began snoring again.

My all-time favorite was the time he announced, "We're in orbit around a small planet."

LMFAO!!
my hubby's a sleep talker too. the best one of all time was when he turned to me, eyes open, and said "watch out! the old ladies! they're twiiiiins!!!!!" then he immediately passed out again. it was friggin hilarious.

that was funny. in my house, though, i am the one who talks in her sleep!

and no one can ever wake me up (unless one of my kids is crying or the baby is doing something strange). i can sleep through hurricanes (did when i lived in Louisiana) but a newborn turning his head will wake me in a second!

: same here, rach!! when i was 9 we were living in Peru in a second floor apt in Chimbote...anyway, there was a pretty big earthquake and i didn't wake up. my mom was shaking me (hell, the *earth* was shaking me LOL!!) and nothing. she dragged me out of bed and i didn't wake up until my body hit the floor. i then had to haul ass out of our building before it started crumbling in parts. they've been riding me for that for over 2 decades. :

OH!!! Soooo funny!!!!

My daughter Cicely always (poor thing) dreams about her older brother taking her things. She'll yell, "NO JUDE! THAT'S MY CHAIR!!!" "ACK JUDE STOP!" "NO JUDE NO JUDE MY PONY DOESN'T LIKE YOU!"

Siblings without Rivalry anyone?

Spark and her four firecrackers.

Not a good thread to read with a nearly three year old on your lap trying to go to sleep. "What mommy? What?" everytime I start laughing.:
