So, right after my baby shower on October 30, I came down with some sickness.. it seemed to change every couple days from sore throat to cough to ear ache.. then after about a week, I felt okay, not 100%, but not too bad either. So, now.. I'm sick AGAIN!!! I had a sore throat and a cough all night, and today it's mostly a cough.. I took off work to try healing myself!

Anyway, I feel llike my immune system is CRAP! I NEVER get sick.. I've been a vegetarian for 10 years and my system usually takes out any little sickness before it can even kick in completely. So, I'm trying to figure out if the pregnancy is draining me or what. I just wish I'd get better and keep hoping that by the time I have to push this lil' one out I'll be super healthy and have enough energy to go through it all!!!

Yup and Yup I have had a nasty dry cough for almost a month.
And have come down with what I call the mini-flu about three weeks back followed by a another bout of the flu this past weekend complete with trip to ER. I am never sick.

My midwife told me yesterday you have to get rid of this cough soon ahh really :
I kind of like having to wear a light bladder protection pad all the time(cause I pee myself everytime I cough) with the occasional fit of throwing up because I have coughed so hard not to mention trying to put DS to sleep at night and my coughing wakes him back up.

I swear anyone else who is sick gets anywhere near me

I have been way too smug about my immune system during pg. I have NEVER gotten sick, even a cold while pg, until about two weeks ago when I got sick to my stomach and could not keep any food or water down for about 30 hours. DH had to stay home and I stayed in bed all day for two days. I still don't feel back to normal, but I am much better. The children also got sick and then DH got a more mild form of the virus. Ugh!

I think I must have just gotten pretty lucky with my last two pgs. I'm just glad it wasn't the flu. Really glad.

Hope you two are feeling better soon!

I still have 8 weeks left so I don't wanna jinx it... but so far I have not been sick this pregnancy accept for mild morning sickness in the beginning. Of course, I've been riddled with migraines and horrible joint/SI pain.. so I guess that makes up for it. The past two pregnancies were summer babies, and I had more flues and things than I have with this one. (none so far) I even landed in the hospital last time for dehydration.

I've been sick for 3 weeks now. 1st a stomach virus which left me dehydrated, then a cold for a week which has now turned into a chest cold.

I've also started having night sweats this week along with zits - so I'm feeling just great!!!
