Well.........I am 37 wks today! Nothing like hitting the "full term" mark. Ok baby whenever you are ready it is safe to come! Anyone else joining me? I know it's silly, but you gotta celebrate what you can! I am sure of conception date so my chances of going before EDD of 1-4 are slim to none but hope does spring eternal! ha ha.

momma to 4!

I celebrate at 36 weeks, which for my family, is pretty darn good. Everybody in my family has babies by then, so when I hit 36 weeks with my first, I literally partied. My baby shower was that very day and I assumed I'd leave it and have baby. And I did...two weeks later LOL Congrats on making it to 37 weeks!! Won't be long now!!

Namaste, Tara

37.5 here, and yes, very happy about it!!! My mw said, at my appt last Thursday, well, the baby could come this weekend. I thought that would be so nice, but assured her it wouldn't happen. I'm sure I still have a full 3-5 weeks to go. But, it's great to know it would be safe if it happened sooner.

I'm 37 weeks Friday! (depending on which EDD you want to go with, I've had so many) It's very exciting, isn't it, that our babies could come any time now. It also makes me a little nervous, but definitely exciting!

I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow!!! I'm not expecting this one anytime soon. I about drove myself crazy waiting on labor with my first who was born 41.1 (or 8 days over)

I haven't even packed my bag, washed the baby clothes, or gotten the car seat out of our storage building out back to be washed and cleaned.

I PLAN on doing all of that this weekend.

me too!
YAY!
Finally 37 weeks!
Maybe this baby will come early (unlike all my other ones!)
and give me a freat early holiday gift!
I keep thinking, anytime now!
Of course it would help if we had bags packed, car seat installed, etc., etc.

I'm 35 weeks and "freakin"" because I just don't feel mentally prepared for the birth--though this is my third, all my kids are five years apart.

Maybe it's just nature's way and I'll feel more prepared as my body gets closer? Do you guys feel prepared for birth?

I would give birth today if I could! It's my favorite part!!! I think that's part of the reason I get soooo impatient at the end. I love the challenge of labor and I get so excited when I think of "conquering" it!!!

Beansavi, I felt like you a few weeks ago. I haven't done anything since, but I feel more ready, somehow. I figure that labor will start slowly and gradually, and I'll have time to adjust, and then from there, take it one contraction at a time. Then my body will push out the baby, and I'll have a baby! Just knowing that it's coming, and I can't get out of it, and that I can take it slowly, one contraction at a time, makes me feel better... like I'm taking the final days of my pregnancy one day at a time.
