My kids do it w/me and/or have their own responsibilities. My kids do the dishes. I cook or they cook. We all do the livestock chores (raking/feeding/watering). I do most of the gardening. We share the lawn work (I mow w/the rider, they take turns watching the little one and push mowing). How are they suppose to learn if you don't have them do it with you?

My 3.5 yo has been folding washcloths and pushing baskets of laundry to the washer since she was 2. She gets her stepstool and helps put them into the washer, too. She also hands me clothespins while I'm hanging clothes out on the line. She also puts up silverware (no knives of course), helps take out the trash, picks up toys, etc...
