Hey everyone,
What are all of you up to this summer?
My kids and I are spending most of our days at home playing in our yard, though we're finding time for some crafts too. And we go to the park some, and the beach.
We've been feeling super busy, but really not doing too much. I think it's just the stage my younger one is at that makes things a bit hard. My older DD had swim lessons at the town beach every morning this month. Most afternoons my older one plays outside with various neighbor kids, and we got an awesome water slide for the yard. The baby is happy with her water table and sandbox and trying to ride a trike. My favorite part of the day is our evening walk/bike ride. It's just so lovely out at that time in the summer. I'll miss is when it starts getting dark too early to continue.
We've been able to do a few play dates to the splash park and the playcafe, but not much else this year. Summer is feeling sadly short and I'm really sad already thinking about my DD going into full day school in the fall. I'm going to miss her so much.!
Splash pads sound fun! I wish we had one nearby. We have a water table and pool too. I hope my kids will remember all of the summer fun. It's crazy to think how quickly they grow up.
I spend this summer at home too as my daughter is only 1 year and 2 months, I think she is too small to travel. And my husband doesn't have vacation this summer(. So I try to enjoy summer at home playing with my child, working from home and meeting friends sometimes.
