My dd is almost 5. If she moves out of the house at 20, that means I have already spent 1/4 of the time I get to be at home with her! I always believe the older people who tell me to enjoy this time as it goes by so fast, but this is the first time I've really felt it in my gut.

Busy mom and loving it... dd (2/03), ds (6/05), dd (8/07), ds (12/09), ??? due 5/12

My oldest just turned 5 and I agree it DOES go fast. Before I had kids, I though five-year olds were still practically babies. I can't believe how mature they are at that age. I think that makes the time seem to go even faster. I thought I'd have babies longer.

Mama to three crazy, wonderful kiddos: dd1--12/2002, dd2--3/2005, and ds--3/2006

My 5 year old has also grown like a weed. But if you think that is bad, the younger one has done it faster!!

My MIL likes to say- The days are really long and the years are really short.

"The true joy of life is the trip. The station is only a dream. It constantly out distances us."
