In the last three weeks I have put braces on my son, 3300.00, glasses for my daughter, 200.00 eye exam PLUS 374.99 for her glasses, non of it covered by insurance. No help from my former spouse. He has no money. HA

Okay so this fool never changed the access to our old checking account. I can look at his funds anytime I want. Let's just say I might have peeked, and I might have seen a payment to a fertility clinic (like over 2K) for his new wife.

He has the balls to tell me that he does not have the money to put braces on his son, glasses on his daughter, but he can make sure his new wife can get pregnant?????!!!!!! They have actively been trying to have a baby.

I am and will continue to make wise decisions for our children, why can't their father see that they are important? That their medical needs come before anyone else's? Their needs certainly come before my needs and wants. (especially the wants)

To top it all off, my son is turning nine in days, bio dad can not have them this weekend "cause he has wrestling tourneys with his step son." This SOB is constantly choosing his new family over the one he created.

So does anyone have any CHEAP ideas on what to get/do for a boy for his ninth birthday?

I am stressed and being bitchy.

OMG . I have no wise words on this one, just a few choice ones I'd LOVE to be able to give your ex.

I've seen more mature single-celled organisms.

Helen mum to five and mistress of mess and mayhem, making merry and mischief til the sun goes down.

In the divorce he is to pay 81% of all uncovered medical costs. He thinks the braces are unnecessary, and that i could have gotten cheaper glasses. I might have been able to get cheaper frames by about 35 bucks, but would the girl wear them? Most of the expense is in the progressive lenses she needs. The braces are very needed. It is important to have straight teeth, a nice smile in this day and age.

Oh well. I have a great group of children that I love dearly, I will do anything for them.

That bites, I'm sorry he's so difficult.

BUT don't peek at his checking account. Really. It's not good for you.

If you have sole legal then you get to make the decision and no matter what he THINKS he has to pay.

I think even if you don't have sole legal you should sue him for hte money and make him prove to court that they were "voluntary"

If you dont' think he's holding up his end of the court ruling hold him in contempt and you can probably even sue him for any legal fees you incur while doing so.
