Another girl for the March mamas right here!

This is our first and I'm so excited! I'm a first child, too, so I like the idea of my DC#1 being a girl.

Dorothy. We feel like it's in the grandma-name genre (which we like) but is being underused now because of the whole Oz thing. We didn't want a name in the top 50. So, Dorothy. We'll probably call her Dori and Dorothy.
The funny thing is, DH's grandma (who has Dorothys as friends) was like, "why would you give her a fusty old name like that? I like Lexi." (NOT a name we considered.)

Thank you all for the congrats! We are still on a pink-tinged high.

I LOVE IT!! I love old fashioned ones - actually I don't even think its that old fashioned. I liked Barbara, Estelle and Althea but DH said no. I say go for Dorothy!! Well, of course you'll have to take a look at her first and make sure she really is a Dorothy, but you can get a lot of cute nicknames out of that one.

One of the cutest, sweetest girls I ever knew was named Dorothy and called Dori. I love it! I'm with you. I totally love the old fashioned ones.

As far as March babies goes, it looks like RedOakMomma has added pink or blue stork icons next to a few of the names on the Due Dates sticky. There are only two or three, though, so perhaps you have to PM her to let her know what you are having so that she can add the pic?

Thanks everybody!

Aminah, congrats on your BOY!! I love that finding out the gender is a cause for celebration either way, because there is no wrong answer. Just joy or joy!

Congratulations!!

As far as posting the gender of your babes....I'd be happy to post a little blue stork, pink stork, or yellow stork (we all deserve storks! ) if you send me a PM or post at the end of the due date thread. I'm only doing it if specifically requested, though (that way people can determine how much public posting they want). Just lemme know!

RedOak ~ Momma to DS (8) , DS (4) , DD (3) , & DD 9/10 ~
