Hey Mariposa, what kind of wrap is that you were wearing - it looks like a blue/green gauzy wrap?? I like it!
What nationality is your Dh? Mine is from Mexico & I am dark Irish (blue eyes, dark hair, med. skin) & our children are such a varying combination of the two of us. Yours are lovely, they look so much alike! One of these days I'll post some pics!
The wrap is the Orion from www.gypsymama.com, it is the BaliBaby Breeze. It is a gauze wrap. We love it! Especially since it is sooo hot here in the summer, should be nice.
My DH is from Mexico as well! Abby is right in between the both of us, coloring and also features. Noemi is so far, almost an exact replica of Abby, so we are wondering if that will stay the same or change as she gets older.
Are your kiddos bilingual as well? We are all bilingual, even me, the super pasty while gringa in the family!
.....thanks, Analisa. That's really sweet of you to say, and awfully nice to hear post-partum.
And it does look like he's vogueing!!! What a handsome little fella!
I have to say, I *DO* think the babies from this month are especially lovely and sweet. I love looking at how different they all are!! All the lovely little noses and hairlines and cheek shapes and fingers.....
So CUTE! And the sibling pictures just make my heart melt. The one with Abby and Noemi looking at each other....AWWWWWW!!!
Is anyone else planning on checking in to the "Life with a Babe" forum? Seems like other due date months have peroidic threads where they share photos through the next year.....I hope we can do that, too. It would be so great to see all these wonderful new children grow over the next twelve months.
Wow Mariposa! Those wraps are beautiful!! I wonder if I'd prefer the stretchy one?? Have you tried that one?
I got a Rockin' Baby Sling that Samual isn't digging
, it's such a pretty sling. He LOVES the KKAFP & the Moby, that's why I think he'd like the wrap you have.
Where in Mexico is your Dh from? Mine is from Queretero. My kiddos (& I) are bilingual too, not as much as I'd like though - we understand more than we speak.

the stretch is really nice. i have seen it in person and it is much lighter than the moby (have one of those) yet i have read it is stronger and you can use for more time. i just haven't fell in love with any of the BBS prints yet. i did just get a hot mama wrap from mom and me creations and it is hemp jersey and much more supportive than my moby, stretchy and beautiful!! plus such a nice WAHMama to support. fabric is thicker than the BBS, but very nice and she hand dyes them herself. does great work!
my DH is from hidalgo. i have been with him for 11 years and we live where i get tons of practice in spanish everywhere, so i am totally bilingual and so is abby. she does better in english, but her spanish is really good as well.
i think as your boy gets bigger, you might want either the BBS or hotmama stretchy as i have heard the moby needs lots of readjusting because it is soo stretchy.

Hey, all the gender neutral pastel frilly sh*t was getting to us! We couldn't pass it up. DH wants to dress him in it for Easter... but I think that's going a bit too far! He also has little mini doc martins. Fun!

Come check out our first monthly thread! Hopefully we can all keep in touch in the months (and years!) to come; share pics, cute stories, big events, etc. It has been so lovely going through the whole journey of pregnancy with you ladies, I would hate for it to end so soon!
This is a newer one (from last week I think) that I love: http://maland.smugmug.com/gallery/1294055/1/65368930 (fyi - we don't usually bathe her like this but our kitchen faucet was disconnected so we couldn't use the baby bathtub
). Check out those rolls! My first dd was such a skinny minnie and Miss Rebecca is a chunk. I love it!
Thanks Elisabeth! Noah has got quite the cheeks as well! Isn't the grinning the best? Vann is starting to make little laughing sounds along with the smile. Just melts me! I added a couple of pics at my link - I caught him with a huge, gummy smile. What fun!
