I am feel lousy.

And when I say that, everyone assumes morning sickness. Nope - sore throat, sneezing, coughing, watery eyes. I am either having a MAJOR allergic reaction or I have a cold. I am guessing the later, since I have been so run down lately - and I taught 15 7-year-old at bible school last week and I know there were millions of germs in that room!

Any great natural feel-betters for colds? I feel like I am in a fog - so tired and achey.

I wantt o get over this so I can get back to feeling pg again soon!

I don't have a solution for you but I'm in the same boat. My older dd started back at preschool a week and a half ago. The cold soon followed. Now she, my younger dd & I all have it. I'm feeling pretty miserable. Isn't it the worst???

Sorry you aren't feeling well! Drink lots of water, and rest as much as you can. I *think* its safe to take extra Vit C when pg, but you might ask on the general "I'm pregnant" forum. I know that some women take that Emergen-C packs throughout pregnancy, but I don't have any experience with that. Feel better soon!

Sorry you're feeling like crap. I'm getting over laryngitis, myself. The cough is enough to make me crazy at night. I took echinacea and acidophilus. A couple of books I have say goldenseal is not advised during pg, which often accompanies echinacea in many formulas. I know it's a little late now, but I found some great books on Amazon I'd recommend that advise what herbs are good/bad to take during pg. I'm out of town, or I'd look up more for you and give you the titles. They may have some to reference at Wild Oats or Whole Foods. I hope you're feeling better soon.

My fave cold remedy - there is a juice that is lemon ginger juice. YOu can get version with or without echinacea. (obviously without for us) And it makes me feel better so much faster. And it tastes like gingery lemonade.

Actually, echinacea is supposed to be safe during pg.

Thanks ladies - I am feeling a little better today - but still not 100%. I slept llike a rock last night - so I think my body wants to just shut down and heal.

Hope everyone else is feeling okay!
