Aww, hugs! I hope he's feeling much better. How awful! What did the hospital do for him (just out of curiousity)?

Hope you get some rest!

Oh- meant to add... I think what little milk I have is colostrum because ds is having bf poopies again! They have that yellow seedy look with that faint sweet odor mixed with the smell of toddler poop. It wouldn't be such an issue, but since it's kinda loose he's having trouble getting to the potty in time! I thought he might just have an upset tummy, but it's been going on for days and is just so reminiscent of newborn poopies...

Not much rest yet, but my inlaws will be here any minute and we will rest then (evening).

They gave him an oral steroid and a breathing treatment. This was to help strengthen his breathing, and help with the inflammation in his throat. It was very similar to when I had my severe asthma attack. The goal of it was to help him get through the night tonight. We also had chest x-rays to make sure there wasn't a beginning of pneumonia.

Children deserve the respect of puzzling it out.

Aww, poor baby! Momma2Sammo, I hope your little one is feeling better soon.

I don't really know how my milk supply is. The only guage I really have is ds and he tells me there is still milk. He's still nursing a lot. Unfortunately, the soreness is starting to come back, but nothing I can't handle so far. DS isn't much of a twiddler, although he does do it at times. He prefers to play with my hair, which drives me crazy!! But I try to tolerate it as long as I can. He doesn't really give me much of a choice, he gets maaaad when I make him stop! I think I'll be glad when my milk turns to colustrum, because ds has problems with constipation/withholding and I'm hoping that'll help a bit.
