I meant to mention this earlier - before so many pregnancies were ended early on our due date club- yet I didn't want to feel like I was jinxing anyone.
When we lost our pregnancy, I found a book that really helped. Miscarriage: Women Sharing from the Heart, by Marie Allen & Shelly Marks
This book really helped me identify my feelings, feel like I wasn't alone & embrace my journey through mourning. Losing our first baby was the single most painful thing I experienced in my life. This book helped me accept that.
For all the mamas who have lost a baby in early pregnancy, I am so sorry.
Children deserve the respect of puzzling it out.
