LOL - I was like that the first trimester and some days I am starving all day long. I just eat lots of small meals - 6 times a day. LOL. But I TRY to make them healthy - like now I am having a cucumber & tomato salad and ham and 1 piece of wheat bread. Not TOO bad...I try to control my portions because I swear I could eat a TON in one sitting. *sigh*
oh YES!!!! HUNGER is all I can say!! FOOD is on my mind ALL the time!! I went to a book party the other day wondering what the hostess would be SERVING!!! LOL!!!
And if I don't eat??? I get quesy , and jittery , and very shakey!! Like total sugar plumet! I just make them healthy and eat eat eat!!!
My baby likes PROTEINS!!!
I wish I could eat like a linebacker! I get hungry all the time, load up a plate, because I feel like I could close down a buffet, and then get full after a few bites. Like, uncomfortably stuffed kind of full.
And then 2 hours later i'm loading up another plate
Oh yes, my new favorite topic is food. In the first tri, I thought of food constantly because I was too sick to eat it. I had an appetite, but even if I dared eat something, it would be back up. So I would just fantasize about wonderful meals.
Now I EAT! Lots of pineapple(craving it), chicken, bowls(almost always more than one) of cereal, huge salads, and constantly drinking juice.
It's wonderful to be able to satisfy my appetite, but also bothersome to constantly be taking snacks with me while running errands...or else I would starving within that half hour and end up at a BurgerKing! So lots of healthy snacks, and just lots of eating in general.
I feel like I've been eating a ton all along, even WHEN I felt like crap.
A few days ago I started really having bad sugar crashes - I think I wasn't feeling so bad anymore so I thought I could not be as attentive to eating often. Since then I've been eating about 8 (yes, 8!!!) small meals a day. Protein, complex carbs, NO sugar or I feel yuck yuck yuck. Which is no fair. My first pg I could eat sugar all day if I wanted to and feel fine (which isn't normal for me.)
But you know what? I gained over 50 lbs with my first pg and I lost it ALL by the time DS was 14 months. My pre-pg weight this time was the same as my pre-pg weight last time. So I'm not worried!
I totally eat like I've been starved! And I'm starting to get full while I'm still hungry!!!I really relate to the eating habits of hobbits with "second breakfasts",and "elevensies"...
What is getting to me now,is loving a great meal, and as I chew my last bite,I gag!I spit out every last bite of everything I eat!!!So laaaaaaaaaaaaaaamme!
