My name is Gretchen I have 2 older boys and this will be our third boy. He was a surprise baby-we didn't even find out until I was 16 weeks pg and thought I had fibroids or something LOL! Of course if I had waited another week I would have been really freaked out since I would have had moving fibroids. Now that the shock has worn off we are settling in and getting used to the idea. I think my midwife still thinks its funny though
We plan to have him at home- it will be our scond homebirth. I have agreat midwife and all is well. She has put me on 2 week visits now though since my blood pressure is a little elevated.
I am trying to take it easier though-I homeschool my two boys and we are taking a light spring semester . I hope to get to know you guys I know this is late in the game but I could use some company during these last 2 months.

i have a friend who is also due in may, she found out for certain she was pg with dd #2 at around 20 weeks...she also thought she may have a tumor, and then she and her dh felt movement! that's when she decided to take a pg test. i think it's a funny story...it's a great way to speed along the pg!
enjoy these last few weeks of your pg!

We found out at Thanksgiving and with the holidays it seemed like by the time we could really focus on the pg we only had about 16 weeks left.
It is all just now really hitting me-I am so slow
BTW, my bp tries to elevate too so I've been taking supplements and it came right back down. Definitely worth a try to keep your bp in check! (I'm taking two caplets Kyolic Aged Garlic Extract Formula 100, 1 capsule Rainbow Light Food Based Calcium w/mag and a tsp or so of flax seed oil mixed into my morning yogurt- it's worked like charm!).
