It doesn't matter what type of plastic - Barbies, yogurt pots, toys, Tupperware, anything she can get her teeth on. She's 15 months old, and I'm tired of it. Any suggestions short of removing her teeth (I've thought of it lol) would be welcome.

And yes, I nag the kids to keep their toys picked up, and the dog is not allowed in the basement where most of them are.

Does she have bones or other toys that she CAN chew on? Our puppy does this too and whenever I see him with plastic, I take it away ("Leave it!") and give him one of HIS toys/bones. Then I make sure to praise him a lot while he's chewing on his own stuff.

He's gotten wayyyyyy better with this since we first got him--we're at the point now where I can say, "UH-UH--Where's your toy?" to him and he'll drop what he has and go find his toy. (He's 11 months old now.)

She does, when she can find them!!! I'll make a conscious effort to do what you suggested and see what happens, thanks!
