My dog, a shepher/heeler mix, 12 years old, is named Brittni.
My first cat, a siamese, 13 years old, is named Sabrina.
My second cat, a brown tabby moggy, 11 years old is named Teddy Bear. I couldn't think of a name for him, and was calling him Tabby Kitty, and one day was commenting on how he is so sweet and cuddly just like a little Teddy Bear. Since he was already coming to the name Tabby Kitty, I figured Teddy Kitty, then Teddy Bear was an easy transition for him.

My Hahn's Macaw, 10 yrs old, I named Diablo. At the time I got him (when he was just 4 months old, a handfed, sweet baby bird), he bonded to me immediately. I had several cockatiels who had fledlings (baby birds who were just learning to fly). Although Diablo was a sweetie pie to me, loves to snuggle, preen me, give kisses, talks, etc., he was very jealous of the other birds. My two fledling cockatiels, Patience and Fortitude, flew up one day and landed on top his cage. Diable ran over and bit Fortitude on his leg, breaking the poor baby's leg. I took Fortitude to the vet who fashioned a bird splint for him. Well, at the moment it happened, I yelled, You little devil!, so that is how he got his name.

My Cockatiel was my first bird. Cockatiels are native to Australia, and Sydney is a city in Australia. Since I got Sydney when he was 8 weeks old, I didn't know his gender (this shows up in feather coloring in cockatiels around 4 months old), so I chose Sydney because it was gender neutral.

Oy, I never thought of listing pets I have had!

Here are a few:
Azure and Indigo, a pair of blue, black masked lovebirds
Sage and Jade, a pair of grey-cheek parakeets (not the common parakeet species)
Nicolai, a green cheek conure
Emily and Isabel, sister caiques and Sparky, a caique ( he came named)
Brody Logan, a lab/border collie mix
Some of my cockatiels:
Morpheus (means god of dreams, as he was a show quality cockatiel and I had dreams of breeding many show babies, but it turned out he didn't know how to mate), and his girlfriend Keziah (she was a cinnamon pied)
Harvey, Sunni (a lutino - all yellow), Jimmy (the sweetest cockatiel ever! who let me pet his babies in the nestbox while he was brooding or feeding them), his mate Fiona, and Jimmy's other mate, Zoe, one of their daughters, Maggie....
four rosy bourkes parakeets: Alpha, Beta, Cappa and Delta
Maximillian, a Maximillian's Pionus I rescued
Lakeisha Renee, a dobie/terrier mix dog (my baby)

Topaz, a maine coon cat (slightly feral but a real regal sweetie)
Charlotte, an orange tabby
Baby Kitty, a white angora mix kitten I rescued and bottle fed but had to rehome due to my severe allergy to her. I had never intended to keep her past weaning, which is why I just called her baby kitty, but I ended up having her for over a year trying to find her an excellent home, which I did.

I think I have missed a lot, but I doubt I'd ever remember all their names. I always had fun naming them.

My Cardigan Welsh Corgi is named Topper (short for Triceratops - my sons were big into dinosaurs when we got him). If he were registered, his name would be Kennelname Triceratops.

My favorite dog names were a black Newfoundland named Blondie, and a miniature dacshund named Duke.

If the chips are down, the buffalo is empty.

Our cat is named Lulu, short for Stellaluna (character in my daughter's current favorite book about a fruit bat )
We adopted this cat 7 weeks ago, and it has recently become apparent that she is preggers...so maybe I will be back with more kitty names!

I love my cats They're my furbabies. I have Sasha. She is a gray tabby with white. I've had her since she was born. Her mom is my mom's cat Arabella. I watched Sasha being born cuz Arabella wouldnt stay in the box unless I was with her. I also have Mischief, we adopted her from a group at PetCo. She is a domestic shorthair and lives up to her name. We are also looking into getting a new kitten. My best friend discovered kittens in her yard and if she can catch them, I will take the little orange one. I have already decided that it's name will be Duck .. lol .. Duck the cat hahahahahaha I love it! Somehow it just seems right, just hope it fits the kitten!

My babies who have gone onto the Rainbow Bridge are Sebastian, my cream persian with copper eyes and Princess, my blue point himalayan. I miss them horribly!

Yellow labrador (15 yo now) Riley, named after BB King, whose real name is Riley B. King.
Black shepherd mix (16 yo) named Shana. We originally named her Shane --we adopted her as an adult and she was so much tougher and alpha than Riley (just like "Shane" was tougher than the little boy's dad in the movie). But we then changed it to Shana when a friend of dh's who is a rabbi told us that "Shana" means Beautiful One in yiddish.

We have a Maine Coon (mix most likely) cat named Spooky. "They call me Spooky... Spooky Mulder..."

We also have Nibbs, the grouchy white cat. I started calling him Nibbsolito Bandito about 12 years ago, long before I ever heard of Skippy Jon Jones. Although, I can see Nibbs being a bandito chihuahua.

We have three dogs (see links in sig); Samson the Dal mix, Ralphie the brown dog and Ruby the Rhodesian Ridgeback. In addition we have Cody the Hamster (he came with the name)

The Tabbie Family; DH , DS , DD , a few :, a couple : and me.
