I often come back to this poem (from the aforeposted website) when remembering a beloved furry one....

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

I'm sorry for your loss ~ I had a puppy named Molly 11 years ago that died from parvo. It was so sad and heartbreaking. If you do get another puppy, look into how long you have to wait. The vet told us to wait a year and clean everything she had come in contact with a weak bleach solution. She had also been in the front and back yard, so that was another reason to wait the year, so there were no germs. We got another puppy about a year laster and I was so scared the new pup would get sick ~ I was religious about his vax until he was past the scary part. He is now 10 years old and doing great.

I'm very sorry for the loss of your Molly. We too lost a dog many years ago to Parvo before there were vaccines for it. It's never easy to lose a pet, no matter what age, no matter for what reason.

Normal is just a setting on your dryer.

I'm sorry about your loss. It sucks when a pet dies

Did you pay for her? If you did, I would seriously consider calling the feed store about her dying from Parvo within a week since she probably already had it when you got her. They owe you a refund.

I just came to get an update and i read the news about molly. I am so very sorry to hear about her passing away. It is never easy to lose a pet no matter how long you have had them. You did all you could and she is lucky to have had a chance at least to live. I know its tough right now but i would also go to the feed store, it is there fault that she died. I'm sorry you had to go through this.

HUGS MAMA
