Does anyone have recipes or suggestions for a liquid diet for a convalescing cat? My 17 yr old cat, Cola, has a large tumor at the back of her throat that was discovered this morning when I took her to the vet to have her tooth pulled. She will not swallow anything that is even close to solid right now. She just licks the gravy off of some canned food (Iam's) that I got for her.

I was thinking that meat based baby food, with maybe some fish oil or coconut oil added might work. Any thoughts?

Just mix her canned food with enough water to make it soupy. Good luck!

Tis the season, for hot apple cider!
