I thought it might be good to make a list of ideas for snowy days/yucky weather days. School is closed here. I took DS and DD to the park for a bit so DD could make snow angels and footprints. But that's short lived!

Our heat for the downstairs (living room, kitchen, bathroom) is out so we had a picnic breakfast in the bedroom and I started cooking to warm up the downstairs.

We bought groceries and we're doing lots of cooking today (big pot of soup, cheese muffins, blueberry muffins, and chocolate chip cookies). When DD wakes up, we'll make "ants on a log" for a snack. She's been begging to make stuff from "Tasty Time with Ze Fronk" on Playhouse Disney. And I have celery now for the soup. She'll be thrilled.

Last snowy day we made playdough and had a big bubble bath.

We've made a fort in the living room before too.

What are you doing when it's too cold or wet to go out?

Happy with my DH, 2 kids, dog, fish, and frogs
