co-sleep help needed - Mothering Forums

My 6 yr old DD likes to sleep in the room with me at night. I am pregnant and due in Sept. Someone suggested to me to get a small air mattress type bed for the floor and I did that and she loves it. But the problem is that the cover over the mattress is noisy! It sounds like she is rustling leaves around all night and I constantly wake up.

Anyone have any ideas what I can use that will not take up so much space on the floor? I will have the baby in there later in the year as well and the room is rather small.

What about a small futon? Like one of those single ones that fold up into a chair. Or a thick futon like yoga mat? something like this:
