Hello. My dd is cutting her first tooth (she's five months), and I'm just curious what other mommas do for the LO's during teething. My doctor's only advice, surprise surprise , was to give her tylenol, but I'd rather not do that unless she was in pain and nothing else could help. So far she doesn't seem too bothered by it, but I can tell there is some discomfort. So, what do you do when it's teething time? My grandma swears by a little whiskey rubbed on the gums, but I think I'll hold off on that remedy for the time being .

You could try Hyland's teething tablets or gel. My lil guy has been doing great w/ homeopathic chamomilla drops & clove oil rubbed on his gums Frozen washcloths are great to chew on!
